• Pacific Umpires will handle tournament games in San Diego county and Inland
Umpires will handle tournament games in Riverside. They will receive our schedules.
Any rainouts are the responsibility of the home team to contact the umpires. Any
other rescheduling needs are the responsibility of the teams involved.

Riley Ricken (LHP, 1B • Sr. • 6' 6" • 210 lbs) recently committed to California State University, San Bernardino. Congratulations to the Ricken family.
Fien is committed to UCLA. He's one of the top players nationally in the 2024 recruiting class. So far this season, Fien is batting .421 with a .500 on base percentage. Those marks are good for second and first on the Great Oak team respectively.
Brendan Shanahan, a 6' 0" 3B, SS in the 2023 Class from Great Oak High School and California Baseball Academy USA , has committed to play college baseball at Fresno State.

— TEMECULA – Great Oak High School’s athletics department announced Monday, Aug. 22, that they have hired Tony Tarasco as their next head coach for the Wolfpack baseball program. Tarasco will be replacing longtime head coach Eric Morton, who retired from coaching earlier this year after 17 years.

— SW RIV. COUNTY — The 7th annual Austin Gorrell Memorial Baseball Classic featured 42 local high school teams playing in games, honoring the former baseball player, who played in high school for JW North. Austin was not wearing his assigned defibrillator vest when he died from heart failure at the early age of 19, which was caught by the staff when he was a freshman playing baseball for the University of Nevada.
2022 scholarship recipients are Jack O’Malley of Crean Lutheran ($7K), Mason Schumacher of Riverside Poly ($5K), Jacob Areano of JW North ($4K), Austin Castillo of ML King ($3K), Brendan Shanahan of Great Oak ($3K), Luca Noce of JW North ($2,500), Ryan Lee of Great Oak ($2,500), Masen Swan of ML King ($2,500), Willis Lacy of Vista Murrieta ($2K) and Noah Benavides of Murrieta Valley ($1,500)
